Before You Arrive

    • Our surgery center will call you 24–48 hours before surgery with your arrival time.

    • Please make sure your driver can stay at the facility for the entire surgery.

    • Do not eat or drink anything after midnight the night before surgery unless otherwise instructed.

    • If you develop a new cough, fever, sore throat, or cold symptoms, please call the surgery center before your arrival to discuss next steps.

    • Remove all jewelry before arriving.

    • Do not apply lotions, oils, deodorant, or makeup on the day of surgery.

    • Remove artificial nails and nail polish prior to surgery.

    • A photo ID

    • Your insurance card

    • Wear comfortable clothing.

    • Button-up shirts are often helpful for after surgery.

    • If you wear contact lenses, please wear glasses on the day of surgery.

    • If you anticipate any communication barriers, please notify us ahead of time so we can arrange appropriate support services.
